Then you have a main meal in the evening, and maybe you eat a steak with mashed potatoes and veggies (600 cal total).

And of course, later on at night you might get a little peckish, so let’s add in a snack of couple bags of potato chips (260 cal).
That gives you a total daily calorie intake of:

Any caloric intake below the recommended minimum 2,500 calories for men doesn’t provide the body with the fuel it needs to function properly [3].
And can put your body into starvation mode.
Because building muscle requires calories, right?
Put simply: It’s not a very healthy place for your body to be, and if you’re like most men I help, this is EXACTLY where you are with your body right now.
In order to gain weight in the first place, at one point you must have been eating more than you were burning.
Usually, this happens when our lives change, like
All of which mess up our old routines.
But the real reason you cannot lose weight now, DESPITE having tried lots of diets
and exercises.
